I think these tracks might come from two different sets. Also, I work with a dude who was "around" in the San Francisco heyday of the late '70s and early '80s and he talks about random shows and bands alot and he mentioned 45 GRAVE a few days ago and I acknowledged that I had never really fucked with them and then that night I saw a flyer for an upcoming Oakland show with ALTAR DE FEY (update: it's tomorrow) and then later that night I ripped this tape and....well, I think I need to attend that show.

First eleven minute track has the vocals mixed almost completely out and is super drum forward - which makes for a listening experience that is as awesome as it is annoying. Presumably this one is from SF but I'm not sure and someone on the internet is bound to (welcome to) correct me. The next three cuts have a way hotter mix and the vocals are straight fire and maybe these are from LA but also maybe not all from the same show even though the tape says they are. Damn BLUE CHEER ruled.
