Solidifying my belief that RAMONES are wholly overrated, this "Leave Home"-era set blows up the "full speed ahead, all go/no slow, rapid fire" myth. Ballads, pauses between songs, essentially a mid-paced affair all around. Things pick up for the last several tracks, but I'd probably have already been outside drinking beer on the sidewalk by the time they got to the good stuff. Don't get me wrong, RAMONES are fine, but....

Three song television performance ripped in moderate (at best) fidelity. East to forget how great these songs are/were, and worth noting that "Art I Ficial" sounds really slow here, and it gives it a pretty surprising groove.

A full nine minutes of this set are wasted with blathering between songs - of course the DL is more than worth the effort just for the banter and heckling. The cops interrupt the show near then end, which is also a joy. REZILLOS (by way of FLEETWOOD MAC) cover is a plus.
